Double Bubble Cotton Candy Gum
The best way to describe this gum is “Delicious, colorful and perfect for blowing bubbles!” Why wouldn’t you try it? Dubble Bubble is the first and original bubble gum imported from the USA.
Created in 1928 by Fleer Candy Company accountant Walter Diemer, the gum featured a comic strip featuring brothers Dub and Bub (replaced in 1950 by Pud). It grew in popularity, and was even distributed as part of military rations during World War II. It also was part of the first-ever gum five-pack (1957).
Milk Duds
Ever heard of, “The perfect disaster?” then this happy mistake that became a Milk Dud is absolutely for you if you can’t get enough of chocolate and caramel. What we mean is that the original intention of the candy was not the end result of it.
Milk Duds were produced in 1928 and are coming very close to reaching their 100-year mark. The name of these incredible candies came about when their maker found it impossible to get the chocolate-covered caramels to form perfectly round balls, so he called them “duds.” If you’re having them for the first time, you can chew them or you can suck on them and savor them. This is a simple candy that has the combination of chocolate and caramel that creates a chewy ball of goodness.
Pop Rocks Popping Candy
Pop Rocks were also accidentally invented while William Mitchell was trying to design an instant soft drink in 1975. Mitchell was a food scientist at General Foods when he put some sugar flavoring mixed with carbon dioxide in his mouth and made the discovery. The exploding candy became a cultural phenomenon after it hit the market.
Pop Rocks are one of the most well-known and popular candies in the United States and this is for good reason. Pop Rocks are an eating experience, fun to eat, snap and pop in your mouth. Pop Rocks candy comes in a variety of flavors and all of them.
Wonka Nerds Grape & Strawberry
Nerds are one of those popular candies and have been around for decades. They are a fun little candy with many different flavors that you can just pop a handful in your mouth or mix and match flavors however you like. For people who love sour candy, this will be their favorite candy discovery as Nerds candy can be a little sour and other times they can be very sweet.
David Klein and his wife Judy Klein invented NERDS in 1976 when they wanted to create Nerds Cereal but after many attempts, they finally created what we know today as Nerds!
